Translation from Spanish
My Church is not disciplined. She is not meek; she doesn’t like it when I tell her what she has to do. She is proud and weak. She is arrogant and refuses to move. She wants everything handed to her. She is lazy and pretentious.
She says she loves Me, but she won’t go where I go. She asks Me for many things, but she does not surrender to Me. She likes junk food. She likes fast food. As soon as we sit down to talk, she is already getting up and leaving, in a hurry to get back to the world.
She makes an effort to sit beside Me at the same table. She doesn’t want to commit herself to Me; she doesn’t want to lose what she calls “her freedom.” She loves her shackles; she thinks they are jewels. She doesn’t want anyone in authority over her. She’s against all authority.
She proclaims Me with her lips while her desires go against My Spirit. Unstable and undisciplined—this is the state of My Church, for her heart is divided. Her tolerance for suffering is very low. If she loved Me, she would not complain constantly.
She focuses on her problems instead of fixing her eyes on Me. If she loved Me above all else, she wouldn’t let anything or anyone distract her. My Church is a narcissistic church; everything is about her. She forgets that I am the King of the universe.
She still hasn’t understood that serving Me is the foundation of what sustains her. She still hasn’t realized that spending time together, sitting with Me at the table, is the best time, not “wasted time” as she calls it in her heart.
I will free her from every distraction, and she will have no excuses left for why she has no time for Me. I will teach her that ultimate love is the foundation of divine discipline. I have overcome the world, and My Church will overcome too, just as I have.
But there is no victory without discipline. Learn to march through rain, snow, heat, drought, storm, and silence. Learn to walk with Me, always.
[Proverbs 3:11-12] My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; Neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
[Hebrews 12:5-6] And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
[John 14:15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[James 1:22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[Mark 12:30] and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
[Revelation 3:16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
[James 1:8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
[John 16:33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
