I am the First and the Last. I am the True One and the Faithful One. There is no falsehood in Me.
They pretend to worship Me in the flesh and in falsehood. It is impossible to worship the Father from a place of falsehood, from a place of deceit. Do not deceive yourselves. You can deceive yourselves, but you cannot deceive God.
Many who say they worship Me do not worship Me. They worship their flesh; they are lovers of their own pleasures. They live deceived by an appearance of righteousness, but they are like whitewashed tombs: they look beautiful on the outside, but inside they are filled with every abomination.
There are prisoners of their own carnality who speak of spiritual things they have never seen or tasted. My name is on their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. They do not know Me for who I Am; instead, they say they know Me according to what they themselves believe.
They say they worship Me, but they hate Me. They speak of the truth, but they lie. It would be better for them not to say they love Me while they live in their iniquity. For surely their own words stand as witnesses against their souls.
The false ones say, “Glory to God!” but they act for their own glory. They proclaim, “We give thanks to our Lord!” but they themselves want to receive grace to exalt themselves. They keep their hands in their pockets to enrich themselves at the expense of My sheep. While My sheep grow thin, they grow fat; and while the widow’s house is taken from her, they expand their tents.
Woe to those who close their doors to My wounded little lambs! Woe to those who lay burdens on their bruised shoulders! “I will repay!” says the Almighty. Whoever sows to the flesh will reap death; but life and honor to the one who sows by My Spirit.
You must turn away from lies and carnality. The Spirit sanctifies the flesh, but the flesh cannot sanctify the spirit.
Return to Me with sincerity and a broken spirit, says God. Truly worship Me. “I do not accept tainted sacrifices!” says God. Worship Me in spirit and truth. My Spirit moves throughout the earth, seeing who seeks Me with a sincere heart.
