Translation from Spanish
My church is not disciplined. She is not meek; she doesn’t like being told what to do. She is proud and weak. She is arrogant and refuses to move. She wants everything served to her. She is lazy and demanding.
She says she loves Me, but she won’t go where I go. She asks Me for much, but she won’t give herself to Me. She craves junk food, fast food. The moment we sit down to talk, she gets up and hurries back to the world.
She tries to sit with Me at the same table, but she doesn’t want commitment. She won’t give up what she calls “her freedom.” She loves her chains; she thinks they’re jewels. She doesn’t want anyone in authority over her. She’s against all authority.
She proclaims Me with her lips, but her desires go against My Spirit. Unstable and undisciplined—this is what My church is like, for her heart is divided. Her tolerance for suffering is very low. If she truly loved Me, she wouldn’t be complaining all the time.
She fixes her eyes on her problems instead of fixing them on Me. If she loved Me above all else, she wouldn’t let anyone or anything distract her. My church is narcissistic: everything revolves around her. She forgets that I am the King of the universe.
She still hasn’t understood that serving Me is the very foundation of her support. She still hasn’t realized that spending time with Me, sitting at the table together, is the best time there is—not “wasted time” as she secretly thinks in her heart.
I will strip away every distraction, and then she won’t have any more excuses for why she has no time for Me. I will teach her that perfect love is the foundation of divine discipline. I have overcome the world, and My church will be victorious, just as I am.
But there is no victory without discipline. Learn to march in the rain, in the snow, in the heat, in drought, in the storm, and in the silence. Learn to walk with Me, always.
[Proverbs 3:11-12] My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; Neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
[Hebrews 12:5-6] And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
[John 14:15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[James 1:22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[Mark 12:30] and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
[Revelation 3:16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
[James 1:8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
[John 16:33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
